Bihar Flood affected: The floods, in Bihar had an impact on the state. Affected numerous individuals across different districts due to heavy rainfall in Nepal and the discharge of water from various barrages such as Valmikinagar and Birpur barrages causing the rivers Kosi, Gandak, and Bagmatio to overflow leading to widespread flooding. Then 1..6 million people in 13 districts were severely affected by rivers crossing their danger levels. Areas like Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, and Muzaffarpur experienced the consequences as embankments were breached resulting in flooding, in lying areas​.
